DNREC uses the latest in Internet technology for increased security to ensure high protection against unauthorized access to the data you exchange across the Internet. The information that is transmitted across the Internet is encrypted for security reasons. Information is scrambled by the means of encryption for transmission between the user's PC and our system. Information that is encrypted at one end is decrypted (unscrambled) upon receipt at the other end. The number of "bits" describes the level of encryption, and the greater the number of "bits" the stronger the encryption. DNREC uses 128-bit encryption, the highest level of encryption publicly available. Why 128-bit encryption? 128-bit encryption is the most secure form of encryption generally available for Internet browsers in the market.
